Prefixes
We are learning about prefixes. Prefixes are small words that we put at the beginning of other words to alter their meaning.
The prefixes we have learnt are:
mis - which means wrong
eg. Did you misread the sentence?
non - which means not
eg. She talked nonstop
ex - which means former or outside
eg. Lucy is an exfriend
co - which means together
eg. let's cooperate on this test.
anti - which means against
eg. The second hand moved anticlockwise.
